The Central Florida Dream Center operates with an extremely low overhead to make sure most of our dollars go directly to the people and families we are called to impact. We are blessed to be guided by our board of directors to help guide these decisions.
 
 

paul-benjaminPaul Benjamin, Founder and Chief Servant of Central Florida Dream Center, he has been ministering to men, women and at- risk youth in communities for over 30 years. Paul is a conference speaker. He coaches, motivates, encourages and equips leaders, individuals, churches and organizations on personal development and how to influence their communities through a three-pronged strategy. He teaches a seminar called Lifestyle Mentoring and speaks on fatherhood, family, and city-reaching strategies. Paul has had numerous opportunities to share these principles on radio, television, and other media outlets.
dawn-benjaminDawn Benjamin, MSW, LCSW, Dawn holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work. She is also the Founder and President of Psalms and Proverbs Counseling our strategic ministry partner. She has worked in various arenas including case management, addictions, mental health, medical social work and grief/ loss. Dawn provides individual, family and group counsel addressing many issues including anxiety, communication barriers, depression, grief/loss, relational conflict, sexual abuse, stress, and substance abuse/addiction.
belinda-thriftBelinda Thrift, MA, RMHCI, Belinda holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary (RTS) and an Associate of Arts Degree in Social Services from Belhaven University in Orlando Florida. She has facilitated grief groups and sexual abuse recovery groups to help participants cope with and recover from significant trauma and loss. Belinda is also the VP of Psalms and Proverbs Counseling, she offers EMDR, therapeutic care for individuals, couples, families and groups seeking assistance in their struggles. Belinda is particularly passionate about her work with folks recovering from abuse, trauma and codependency.
antonio-barbosaAntonio Barbosa, retired founder and President of “Kitchens by Antonio”.
He has a heart to help families and youth in the community. For over 27 years Antonio has used his gifts and talents to invest in the lives of others. Antonio has mentored many young men in his trade of carpentry, fine trimming and cabinetry. He has donated and installed many used kitchen cabinets in the homes of single mothers in Sanford. He loves to visit and pray for people in the hospital. As an Evangelist, his passion is to see others come to know the Lord.
al-haslamAl Haslam, has a heart to serve and mentor veterans who served our great nation. As a veteran himself, Al mentors wounded veterans on the golf course and off. He is has invested his life helping and mentoring youth and other men in our region for over two decades.
pastor-tammyPastor Tammy Abramson – Grissom, serves at Lion of Judah House of Worship in Sanford. She also serves as a Police Chaplin at The Sanford Police Department. She is truly a servant leader in our City, every week she and her team of members serve the homeless families at her church.
